The Bruce Party “ 2 Night Stay “

"As a party of 6 staying at Glencanisp we arrived to a warm well equipped house. The fires were already burning when we arrived which was a great touch, with coal etc all in place if required. The house itself is well laid out. The large kitchen was great, we spend much of our first night in there with a great tv and sofa to relax on. The bedrooms are well equipped with ipod connections in every room (brilliant idea given that I'd forgotten my charger!). Free wifi is also available. The showers are great with loads of hot water on tap. Its also close to town (a 10 minute walk) so handy for going out to dinner with some great bars not far away.

We are already trying to organise a return visit!!"

"We had a really lovely time at ‘Glencanisp’.
It was beautifully decorated inside with everything we needed, the children were so excited to have the Disney channel…lol…and set within a nice location away from the crowds, but only within walking distance from the main Aviemore thoroughfare, this was our perfect location with all the tourist attractions we needed.
We walked miles around the Cairngorms (thank you for the advice & maps!!) and the kids had so much fun at Landmark, the Cinema and exploring Loch Morlich (again thank you for the entertainment guidance).
We would highly recommend ‘Glencanisp’ to all, there is everything the modern family needs, there was never a dull moment and coming home to such a welcoming house, which was clean, cosy and most importantly – family friendly – made our holiday in the Highlands that extra bit special, we are booked for next year already!
Thank you again to Mr & Mrs Chadburn for being the perfect hosts, we would recommend ‘Glencanisp’ to all. "

"We have just returned from a weeks holiday in Aviemore, staying at Glencanisp, and wanted to relay what a super time we had.
Glencanisp is beautifully presented with all of todays modern creature comforts, yet still retains the character and charm of a traditional Scottish home.
The house is well sited to explore not only Aviemore but the surrounding Cairngorm National Park and beyond.
Our only regret is that we didn't book for longer than a week, so we will be back.
